In depth

What makes an Intuos product different

Two products, one philosophy. This page is the longer version of the "why" — what we optimise for, and how the CyberDeck and Intuos Opal AI work together as a single system rather than two things that happen to sit next to each other.

Three principles, applied

These are the decisions that shape everything we build. They're not marketing — they're the reason a CyberDeck feels the way it does, and why Opal AI behaves the way it does.

01

Built to be used

Every Intuos product is a finished, working tool — not a prototype. Hardware and software ship as one unit, tuned to work together out of the box. You should be able to power it on, open a real task, and stay there.

  • Ships assembled, tested and documented by hand
  • One OS, one assistant, one machine — nothing to glue together
  • Default settings that are sensible, not defaults that are placeholders
02

Your machine, your data

Opal AI runs locally on the CyberDeck or any PC. By default your conversations, files and work stay on your hardware. When you want a bigger model, you choose to call the cloud — you don't get pushed into it.

  • Local-first inference on the models you install
  • No account, no telemetry, no cloud round-trip required
  • Optional cloud models, switched on by you, for the jobs that need them
03

Small batch, high craft

We make a few things, properly. Each deck is assembled, tested and documented by hand, and each software release is something we use ourselves before it reaches you.

  • One-of-one hardware — your deck is yours
  • Software releases we rely on in our own workflow
  • Support from the people who actually built the thing

How it shows up in the products

The same three principles, made concrete in each product. This is the overview — each product page is where the build, the parts and the details live.

Intuos CyberDeck

Explore the deck →

Chassis

A hand-built enclosure in 5-inch and 8-inch touchscreen variants — a computer you hold, not one you haul.

Compute

A full, general-purpose system under the glass — enough headroom to run local models, a real OS, and your work at once.

Display & input

Touchscreen primary input, sized to a single hand. Built to be used from your lap, a table, or anywhere you sit.

One machine

Hardware, OS and assistant ship as a single unit. No driver hunts, no stack to assemble yourself.

02

Intuos Opal AI

Meet Opal →

Voice first

Talk to it like a colleague. Opal listens, plans, and works through multi-step jobs with you in the loop.

A desktop that acts

A holographic HUD that reads files, runs commands, edits code, deploys and ships — with you approving the important moves.

Projects & files

Work organises itself into projects with their own instructions, files and history — across your folders and machines.

Skills & tools

Extendable with skills, build tools, git and SSH, plus integrations such as Flux and GitHub when you want them.

One system, not two halves

The honest pitch: hardware without the software you want is a hobby, and software without a machine that suits it is a compromise. We build them together so neither has to pretend. Pick a product and dig into its page for the full build, specs and software stack.
